TRADITIONAL LAMBAYEQUE 03 days / 02 nights day 01: CHICLAYO – SIPAN Transfer to the Huaca Rajada Archaeological Complex Sipan, located in the southeast of the Department of Lambayeque. We will start our journey visiting the Royal Cemetery where untouched of the Mochica Culture are located; among them: The Tombs of the Lord of Sipan discovered on June 1987; the Tomb of the Priest discovered in 1988; the Tomb of the Old Lord of Sipan discovered in 1989; the Tomb of the Chief Warrior discovered in 1996 and the Tomb of the Second Chief Warrior discovered in 1998. All of these tombs belong to the Mochica Nobility. Then, we will visit the Site Museum and finally we will walk around the two pyramids made of adobe and carob wood. Here we can appreciate the landscape of the fertile Chancay Valet with its sugar cane plantations. Return to the city of Chiclayo. Lunch In the afternoon, we will visit the Tombs of the Lord of Sipan Museum, located in the city of Lambayeque. This museum holds the remains of the Lord of Sipan and all archaeological recovered from the Tombs of Sipan. Lodging day 02: TúCUMe – SICAN – Site Museum Breakfast Visit to the National Museum, located in the city of Ferreñafe. Its main function is to become a research center in order to study in depth the Sican Culture and other cultural manifestations of the region. Excursion to the Archaeological Complex of Tucume, which is the second capital of the Lord of Sican or Lambayeque (1000 AC) and consists of 26 colossal truncated pyramids, having an extension of 220 hectares. We will visit the Site Museum where visitors will enjoy seeing original archaeological rests that belonged to the Lambayeque, Chimu and Inca cultures. Return to the city of Chiclayo. Free time for personal activities. day 03: PIMENTEL – CHICLAYO – LIMA Visit the Pimentel and Santa Rosa beach resorts for observing the handmade fishing in the millennial Caballitos de Totora.
